Andorra la Vella has restored PK card top-up services at seven central municipal car parks after nearly three weeks of disruptions during a system upgrade for improved management and security.

The Parking Service has activated the new platform at Centre Ciutat, Centre Històric, Parc Central, Meritxell, Valira, Fener 2 and Bonavista. Users can now recharge balances at these locations, though the credits are valid only within this central group for now. Sales of 3-, 7- and 30-day temporary access cards have also resumed there.

Work continues on the four peripheral sites—Escoles, Serradora, Fluvial and Canrodes—with technical teams in the final implementation phase. The council expects to complete the rollout across the full network by the end of this week, restoring PK card functionality and temporary subscriptions everywhere.

Councillor for Traffic and Parking Xavier Surana described the upgrade as an essential logistical step to deliver parking services meeting modern standards of quality, security and efficiency. He expressed full awareness of the inconvenience caused and thanked residents for their patience and understanding.

The initiative forms part of broader efforts to modernise urban mobility infrastructure in the capital, prioritising more effective and secure user management.
