Escaldes-Engordany authorities have announced a full traffic closure on a section of Avinguda Fiter i Rossell on Monday, January 12, due to roadworks. The restriction will run from 9:30am to 9pm, impacting both private vehicles and public transport services.
The closure affects the stretch between the La Massana exit roundabout and the junction with Avinguda del Pessebre. Drivers heading to La Massana must detour via the Pont Pla tunnel. Vehicles coming from La Massana will also use the tunnel, except for residents of Avinguda Fiter i Rossell between numbers 109 and 87, who can access their homes directly.
Local access to urbanisations and properties along the closed section—between the Avinguda del Pessebre junction and the crossroads with Carrer dels Vilars—will remain open via the same avenue.
EE Bus services will face changes from 9:30am to 6pm. On the Els Vilars line, the Els Baus stop will be cancelled and replaced by the alternative at Cruïlla Els Vilars. The Sant Jaume line will suspend stops at Cruïlla Els Vilars and Els Baus.
