Police Mediate Scuffle Between British Tourist and Bus Driver at Andorra Station

Police intervened at Andorra's National Bus Station around 4am on Friday following a verbal dispute between a British tourist and a bus driver that escalated into a brief scuffle, though no injuries or arrests resulted.

The incident occurred just before the Barcelona-bound bus was due to depart. According to police, the argument between the woman—travelling with two accompanying teenagers—and the driver began verbally before involving physical contact, described as a "forcejament" or tussle. Station security alerted officers, who arrived promptly, separated the parties, and mediated to resolve the matter on site.

Witnesses reported the tourist had arrived via a hotel pickup service. She claimed a worker had called her over demanding explanations, leaving her deeply offended and prompting her to request police help. The driver refused to let her or her group board, so she secured tickets for a later bus to Barcelona Airport to make her flight. Officers escorted her inside for a discussion and confirmed no signs of physical aggression on either side.

The driver filed no complaint and resumed the scheduled route to Barcelona after police concluded their involvement. Authorities have provided no further details on the dispute's origin, and the situation ended peacefully.
