Carrer de la Molina in Encamp reopened to traffic on Saturday, March 14, following two months of closures since January 12 for upgrades as part of the first phase of Avinguda Joan Martí's comprehensive renovation.

The project renewed all underground infrastructure, including wastewater pipes and a new, larger-diameter stormwater network. Finished on schedule, the works restore downhill bus services along the avenue's main stretch and reactivate stops 208 Riu Blanc, 218 Prada de Moles, and 241 Ràdio Andorra, which had been out of service.

Stop 206 Molina, provisionally located at the Encamp neighbourhood roundabout, now moves to Carrer de la Molina opposite the Parc de l’Ossa communal car park entrance. Southbound traffic from the street gains a third exit route.

New traffic rules take effect: Carrer de la Molina runs one-way from the Ossa car park to Avinguda Joan Martí. The section from the Ossa car park exit to Avinguda Príncep Benlloch, plus Carrer de la Vila, stays two-way. Direct access from Avinguda Joan Martí to Carrer de la Molina closes, with Ossa car park entry rerouted via the Poblet roundabout.

The first phase of Avinguda Joan Martí's renovation continues between Carrer de la Molina and Prat de Genil roundabout, with completion expected by late 2026.

Encamp council announced a water supply cut that night, from 10pm to 2am, affecting Avinguda Joan Martí between Prat de Genil roundabout and Pont de la Molina for network maintenance. Service returned to normal once the work finished.
