Road closures on Carrer de la Unió in Andorra la Vella will continue for essential works on the nights of 5, 6 and 7 May, disrupting private vehicles and several public bus lines from 21:30. Lé buses will receive priority access on their final daily services, avoiding the restrictions.
The overnight closures, starting Tuesday 5 May, affect multiple routes in Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany. On Wednesday 6 May and Thursday 7 May, line L5 will reroute in both directions via Carrer Prat de la Creu, Carrer Pau Casals and Avinguda Esteve Albert before rejoining its standard path.
Thursday 7 May will see additional changes for the final runs of lines L2, L3 and L6. At the roundabout by kilometre 0, buses will continue straight ahead rather than turning onto Carrer de la Unió.
The BN1 Night Bus faces ongoing diversions throughout. Northbound from Estació Nacional to Caldea, services will follow Carrer Prat de la Creu, Carrer Pau Casals and Avinguda Esteve Albert. From Caldea, the route proceeds along Avinguda de les Nacions Unides, Avinguda Doctor Mitjavila and back to Carrer Prat de la Creu to resume the normal itinerary.
Alternative stops are in place for all impacted lines to minimise disruption. Authorities have not detailed the works' precise nature or expected completion.
**Separate bus schedule updates for L6 and L7 from 9 May**
Meanwhile, lines L6 and L7 will introduce revised weekend, Sunday and holiday timetables starting Saturday 9 May, maintaining 30-minute frequencies while adding evening services.
For L6 from Andorra la Vella, operations run from 6:45 to 21:15, with an extra Saturday service at 21:50. From La Cortinada in Ordino, services operate from 7:00 to 21:30.
Line L7 from Andorra la Vella will run from 7:00 to 22:00. From Auditori Nacional in Ordino, timings are 6:45 to 21:45.
