Junts Councillor Demands Urgent N-260 Pothole Repairs Near Andorra

Jordi Fàbrega, a Junts councillor in La Seu d'Urgell and deputy in the Catalan Parliament, has called for urgent repairs to the numerous potholes plaguing the N-260 road, a key route into La Seu d'Urgell and Andorra.

In a post on social media, Fàbrega described the road's condition as "unpresentable" and the potholes as "criminal", particularly along the stretch between Pont de Bar and Martinet. He highlighted that the asphalt has not been renewed for over 18 years, urging authorities to act before an accident occurs.

The councillor questioned whether officials plan to fix the defects promptly or if they will wait for a tragedy to prompt action. He noted that the issue has become a widespread concern across the Pyrenees.

The N-260 serves as one of the primary access roads for traffic heading to La Seu d'Urgell and into Andorra, making its poor state a hazard for daily commuters and visitors. No immediate response from road maintenance authorities was available at the time of reporting.
