A driver suffered minor injuries in a traffic accident on Thursday midday along the N-260 road in the Pont de Bar municipality.
Emergency services responded to the incident at kilometre marker 214 of the Eix Pirinenc, near the Banys de Sant Vicenç and the boundary with Arsèguel. The alert came in at 1:01pm, according to the Servei Català de Trànsit and the Direcció General d'Emergències, with Ràdio Seu also reporting details.
The driver lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons and veered off the road. Eyewitnesses described the car as a Porsche with an Andorran licence plate.
Firefighters from the Generalitat, SEM medical teams, and Mossos d'Esquadra attended the scene. The road was fully closed in both directions, causing immediate traffic backups. Responders treated the injured driver, cleared debris from the carriageway, and removed the vehicle.
Authorities reopened the road to traffic after about 30 minutes, around 2:15pm. Police have not yet detailed the exact cause of the crash.
