Police in Andorra la Vella arrested a 29-year-old woman in the early hours of Sunday after officers saw her run two red lights while riding an electric scooter. During a brief search the police found 0.43 grams of MDMA on her. She refused to submit to a toxicology test and was arrested for the traffic offences and drug possession, and detained as a suspected author of an offence against collective safety.
Separately, police arrested two men for driving under the influence over the weekend. In the early hours of Saturday a 29-year-old registered a blood alcohol level of 1.33. A short time later an 18-year-old tested 1.49 following an accident in Arinsal in which he damaged two parked vehicles.
