Broadband internet subscribers in Andorra reached 44,366 in February 2026, up 2.8% from 43,171 the previous year, according to Department of Statistics figures.

The data point to steady telecom sector growth. Mobile subscribers rose to 134,351, marking a 3.9% increase from 129,257 in February 2025, though one report cited 4%. Fixed telephony lines grew 1.3% to 54,389 from 53,668 a year earlier.

Internet traffic fueled the expansion, totaling 14.86 million gigabytes—a 6.7% year-on-year gain. Mobile data consumption jumped 34.7%, reflecting users' growing dependence on handheld devices.

Voice traffic, excluding internet-based calls, fell 15.6% to 10.51 million minutes. National calls made up 7.92 million minutes, or 75.3% of the total, down 4.2%. International calls dropped sharply by 38.1% to 2.60 million minutes, accounting for 24.7%.

These trends confirm a pivot toward data-heavy services at the expense of traditional voice usage, particularly for overseas connections. Mobile prepaid subscriptions show signs of stabilization.
