Over 100 professionals unanimously approved the 2026 budget focused on sector professionalisation and public

Jordi Ribó has been elected president of the Col·legi Oficial d’Agents i Gestors Immobiliaris d’Andorra (AGIA) at the organisation's ordinary general assembly held on Thursday at the Hespèria hotel in Escaldes-Engordany.

More than 100 real estate professionals attended the event, where they unanimously approved the 2025 activity report and annual accounts. Participants also endorsed the 2026 budget, which prioritises sector professionalisation and closer collaboration with public administrations amid recent legislative changes. The assembly ratified AGIA's strategic roadmap and selected the new Governing Board to steer the group in the coming years.

Ribó, the former general secretary, succeeds Gerard Casellas. He will lead with vice-president Francesc Pont, treasurer Joan Buen, secretary Alfons Pruna, and vocal members Jaume Bartumeu, Antoni Bea, Peter Lucas, Leah Binsted, and Laura Casellas, who cover specific areas of expertise.

In his initial remarks as president, Ribó thanked members for their confidence. He reaffirmed AGIA's role as a key player in Andorra's economic and social development, committing to transparency and excellence in property management while addressing sector challenges. The assembly underscored broad consensus among professionals.
