Andbank España opened its 26th private banking centre in Palma on Monday at the Es Baluard Museu d’Art Contemporani Foundation, drawing over 170 attendees including senior Balearic officials.
The event featured Palma mayor Jaime Martínez, Insular Council president Llorenç Galmés, and Balearic government first vice-president Antoni Costa, who oversees economy, finance, and innovation. Andbank executives present included Ignacio Iglesias, managing director of Andbank España; Carlos Aso, CEO of the Andbank Group; Sergi Pallerola, vice-president; Manel Cerqueda, councillor; Rafael Bosch, finance councillor; and Susana Pérez, director general of the treasury.
Located at Carrer Sant Jaume 19, the centre is led by Catalina Gelabert and staffed by four specialists. The bank, which holds sixth place in Spain’s private banking rankings, ended 2025 with a business volume surpassing €40.261 billion.
