The Andorran government has approved grants totalling €32,907.77 to support four small businesses in Pas de la Casa hit by the closure of the French RN-20 road.
The aid, published in Wednesday's *Butlletí Oficial del Principat d'Andorra* (BOPA), aims to offset economic losses from the disruption, which affected access from France. Five business owners applied for the extraordinary measures, but one request was rejected for failing to meet requirements.
The funds cover reductions in CASS social security contributions and treasury support to address cash flow issues caused by mobility restrictions at the border. They are divided into four amounts: €20,628.27, €5,932.48, €3,868.76, and €2,478.26.
The RN-20 closure, a key route for visitors to the border area, lasted from late February until March, initially expected to continue for three months. Businesses reliant on day-trippers suffered significant impacts.
