  • Spaces will host secretariats for IURS, OHPI-UE, Confucius Classroom, and Camões Chair.
  • Agreement supports administrative and research functions as UdA's institutional project.
  • Partnership renews 2010 collaboration to promote education and talent development in Andorra.

The University of Andorra (UdA) and Andorra Telecom have signed a new collaboration agreement under which the telecom company will provide the university with office space in its building at Plaça de la Germandat in Sant Julià de Lòria.

The deal covers multiple areas across a three-storey building totalling 390 square metres. The UdA plans to use the premises for an institutional project tied to its role as the Principality's sole public university, focusing on administrative and research functions.

UdA rector Juli Minoves stated that the spaces will house secretariats for affiliated study centres, including the University Research Institute for Health (IURS), the Interdisciplinary Observatory for History, Political Science, International Relations and the European Union (OHPI-UE), the Confucius Classroom and the Camões Chair.

Cèsar Marquina, deputy CEO of Andorra Telecom, described the arrangement as further evidence of the company's dedication to advancing knowledge, training and talent in Andorra. He added that the partnership with the UdA matters because both organisations aim to support young people's social and professional growth through meaningful initiatives.

The agreement builds on a relationship that began in 2010 and underscores their joint priority of promoting education, professional development and knowledge creation across the country. It will enable the UdA to strengthen its presence in the parish while fostering collaborative efforts in academic, technological and professional fields.
