Encamp’s L’Enfira’t Trade Fair Returns June 13-14 with 65 Stands and 5,000 Visitor Goal

Encamp’s multisectorial fair at Parc de l’Ossa and Carrer del Prat de l’Areny targets last year’s 5,000 visitors. It highlights local businesses, adds motorhome and food stands, plus family activities like concerts and races for economic promotion.

Key Points

  • 65 stands confirmed, 60% returning exhibitors from sectors like construction and food
  • New mid-June dates to boost attendance; features motorhome stands, food outlets, special deals
  • Activities include kids' inflatables, concerts, workshops, trail run, dance shows, passport draws
  • €50,000 budget event showcases Encamp’s economy, aids desestacionalisation amid sports season

The fifth edition of L’Enfira’t, Encamp’s multisectorial trade fair, takes place on June 13 and 14 at Parc de l’Ossa and Carrer del Prat de l’Areny. Organisers aim to match last year’s attendance of around 5,000 visitors, with 65 stands confirmed for companies, associations and entities from the parish.

Councillor for Finance, Sports and Economic Reactivation Nino Marot described the response as strong, noting the event’s capacity for about 70 stands. He pointed to Encamp’s robust business network, with powerful firms in sectors like construction and food, and said new businesses show interest in setting up locally despite limited large spaces. Some 60% of exhibitors are returning from the previous edition.

This year’s event shifts from its usual late May slot to mid-June to boost visitor numbers and position it as a showcase for the parish’s economic and associative life. Marot called it a “vitrine” of what Encamp offers. The concentrated venue worked well last year by linking exhibitors, visitors and participants easily.

Key additions include three stands focused on motorhomes, a growing sector, plus nine food outlets with a central tent for weather protection. Local shops, restaurants and salons will offer special deals like discounts, set menus and free desserts.

Activities span all ages: inflatables and remote-control car tracks for children, live concerts at 12.30 and 18.00, pottery workshops, sports classes, a trail run, dance shows including a Spanish dance festival on Saturday afternoon, and a slot car championship. Casa Cristo and the Automobile Museum will hold open days. Entities such as MoraBanc, FC Andorra and athlete Edgar Montellà will join in.

Visitors can collect a passport from the tourist office to stamp at stands and activities, entering eight draws for €50 shopping vouchers. The fair has a €50,000 budget.

Cònsol menor Xavier Fernàndez hailed it as a “consolidated” event that helps desestacionalise economic and tourist activity amid a busy period of sports fixtures.
