Andorra's import prices showed virtually no change year-on-year in March 2026, while export prices rose 2.8% compared to March 2025, according to the latest Unit Value Index (IVU) data from the Department of Statistics. Month-over-month, imports increased 4.1% from February, and exports jumped 52.8%.
Consumer goods stood out as the only major import category with a year-on-year price rise of 1.5%. Capital goods declined 4.1% annually, and intermediate goods—primarily used in manufacturing—fell 3.7%. Compared to February, consumer and capital goods prices climbed 6.8% and 7.5%, respectively, while intermediate goods dropped 3.5%.
Under the Unified International Trade Classification (CUCI), most import groups recorded price decreases. The largest declines hit non-edible raw materials excluding fuels, down 19.3%, and fuels, mineral lubricants and related products, easing 7.5%. Gains appeared in manufactured articles classified chiefly by raw material, up 5.4%, and chemicals and similar products, rising 4.7%.
By origin, unit prices for imports from Spain increased 1.1%, and those from the rest of the European Union and Great Britain rose 0.8%. Imports from France cost 6.8% less than a year earlier, with products from the rest of the world down 3.4%.
The figures underscore steady import pricing amid sharper export fluctuations. No official analysis of the trends has been released.
