Andorra Telecom Leads AI Discussions at Teleforum in Luxembourg

Andorra Telecom joined operators from small states and territories at the 34th Teleforum in Luxembourg this week to address shared telecom challenges, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence applications and the push toward digital service models.

The Andorran delegation was headed by director general and Teleforum president Jordi Nadal, alongside the company's director of international affairs. The forum gathered representatives confronting similar issues, such as limited market sizes, regulatory pressures, and pathways for expansion.

Key discussions examined AI's role in areas including customer service, network management, operational efficiency, and creating new digital offerings. Delegations exchanged practical cases and real-world uses to accelerate implementation across the sector.

Operators agreed on the urgency of identifying fresh revenue streams in increasingly mature and competitive markets. They stressed shifting from conventional telecom services to technology solutions aimed at businesses, public bodies, and residents.

The event also promoted knowledge sharing among peers with profiles akin to Andorra's, spotlighting effective strategies and collaboration opportunities to boost competitiveness and innovation. Teleforum, launched in 2000, holds its annual meeting in a different member country each year; Andorra Telecom hosted the previous edition in Andorra.
