Andorra Ministry Partners with AR+I to Launch Vocational Training Observatory

The Ministry of Institutional Relations, Education and Universities has partnered with the public foundation Andorra Recerca i Innovació (AR+I) through a collaboration agreement to create the Andorra Vocational Training Observatory.

This new analysis and monitoring tool will support the development and evaluation of public policies in vocational education. The initiative aligns with the ministry's national strategic plan to better match training programmes with Andorra's labour market requirements.

The observatory will combine AR+I's technical expertise with the ministry's strategic direction and data resources. AR+I will handle key responsibilities, including developing objective indicators on graduate employment rates and student retention, preparing regular reports, and undertaking specific studies as required to collect additional data.

Officials say the effort will provide essential information to design training pathways that respond to industry demands and promote lifelong reskilling. The government regards the partnership as an advance in modernising Andorra's education system through evidence-based decision-making and real-world data.

By uniting technical skills with institutional goals, the collaboration aims to establish a reliable framework for research, innovation, and knowledge transfer, helping to anticipate future needs in vocational teaching.
