4 Andorran Startups Excel in Train French Tech 2026 with Andorra Business Aid

Four Andorran startups took part this week in Train French Tech 2026, an initiative led by French Tech Perpignan that brings together entrepreneurs, investors and innovation experts on a train journey from Perpignan to Madrid. The event, which ran from Monday until yesterday, transformed the train into a mobile hub for networking, pitches and business development over several days.

Andorra Business supported the delegation to boost the firms' international visibility and open doors to new markets, strategic partners and investors. The group included Xavier Baldó, CEO of Blockchain School; Meritxell Perelló, CEO of Amb Tu; Rinat Kirdan, CEO of Praams; and Bruno Ciroussel, CEO of Aitek Sovereign Cloud. Blockchain School, Amb Tu and Praams delivered pitches to sector experts and investors during workshops and sessions, alongside 26 startups from Andorra, France and Spain.

Praams, led by Andorran resident Rinat Kirdan, achieved a key milestone by qualifying for the pitch competition's grand final at Madrid's Teatro Magno, where the edition's top-rated projects were showcased.

Arthur Lemaire, president of French Tech Perpignan, praised the Andorran startups for their high-quality projects and international ambition. He noted the value in strengthening ties between the entrepreneurial ecosystems of Andorra, France and Spain.

Judit Hidalgo, director of Andorra Business, described the effort as part of the agency's strategy to aid company internationalisation and competitiveness, while highlighting Andorra's entrepreneurial talent.

The train programme coincided with Madrid's South Summit, a major global gathering for startups, corporations, investors and institutions. The Andorran team attended to expand networks and track industry trends.

The participation provided valuable exposure for Andorra's startup ecosystem on prominent European stages.
