Camprabassa SA, operator of Andorra's Naturland waste facility, posted operating revenues of €4.8 million for 2025, up 9.3% from €4.4 million in 2024, as approved during its ordinary general shareholders' meeting held Thursday.
The improvement stemmed from stronger commercial policies that lifted average spending per customer to €51—a 21% rise from the previous year—alongside increased income from landfill operations. These gains offset challenges from highly variable weather throughout the year.
Operating expenses fell 1.6% to €5.1 million from €5.2 million, driven by a 3.6% cut in personnel costs and a 25.8% drop in goods consumption, without compromising service quality. The result was a positive EBITDA of €579,000 at year-end, a €500,000 increase and more than sevenfold jump from €79,000 in 2024.
Financial expenses declined 15.6% to €450,000 from €533,000, reflecting lower interest rates. Net losses narrowed to €817,000, a 41% reduction—or €571,000 improvement—from €1.388 million the year before.
Company leaders described the outcome as a clear step forward, highlighting revenue gains, expense controls, and reduced financing costs. They emphasized ongoing efforts to deliver territory-linked, sustainable services.
To strengthen its financial position, Camprabassa recorded a €2.8 million asset adjustment in 2025 under prudent accounting standards. Shareholders endorsed requesting a €6 million capital injection from majority owner Comú de Sant Julià de Lòria through partial debt capitalization, designed to stabilize the balance sheet and advance recovery.
