Creand Crèdit Andorrà has signed a distribution agreement with Spanish digital asset manager Crescenta to offer one of its private equity funds to clients in its wealth management division.
The deal marks the Andorran bank's first foray into marketing a pure "growth" fund, specifically the Crescenta Private Equity Growth Top Performers III. This product targets established companies—or those close to profitability—with strong growth potential. It invests capital to accelerate expansion, either organically or through acquisitions, aiming for long-term value creation. Investors should note the risks, including potential capital loss, a lengthy time horizon, and limited liquidity.
Creand, which already offers other private equity funds, gains access to Crescenta's rigorous fund selection process and digital platform, enhancing its investment options. For Crescenta, the partnership represents its initial collaboration with a bank, building on prior ties with financial advisory firms and securities agencies. The fund provides exposure to advanced-stage technology companies via a curated selection of international funds, focusing on firms blending operational stability with high revaluation potential.
Guillem Escabrós, head of private equity and private debt at Creand, said the agreement allows the bank to provide wealth management clients with assets gaining traction among investors. He added that Crescenta's portfolio construction aligns with Creand's quality standards as it seeks to expand its differentiated offerings.
Ramiro Iglesias, CEO and co-founder of Crescenta—a CNMV-regulated manager overseeing €250 million for over 4,200 investors—described the deal as validation of its products. It opens doors to new investors in Spain and Andorra, positioning Creand as a strategic partner for future opportunities.
The Crescenta fund is registered with the Andorran Financial Authority under number EB02-0035.
