Creand Crèdit Andorrà has launched the 48th edition of its summer training internships, welcoming 42 university and master's degree students into various areas of the bank. The programme, running through July and August, integrates participants across the branch network and central services to provide hands-on professional experience alongside their studies.
The initiative began with a group dynamic in hackathon format at Grandvalira's Soldeu sector. There, the students addressed a business challenge while receiving training in innovation techniques and design thinking.
Complementing the internships, the bank is promoting the fourth edition of the Creand Summer Innovation Challenge. Open to interested participants, it features workshops and follow-up sessions with bank experts to develop innovative proposals. This year's focus is generating ideas to attract and retain young talent. Throughout the summer, interns receive ongoing guidance, culminating in a participation certificate. The challenge helps build skills in multidisciplinary teamwork, critical thinking, effective communication, and proactivity.
Santiago de Larrea, Creand's director of innovation, described the challenge as "an opportunity for internship participants to experience corporate intrapreneurship through a company challenge. Presenting their proposals to a jury and the entire organisation is a highly enriching experience, both for their development and for the company as a whole."
The programme has established itself as a key effort by the bank to attract and nurture young talent. Students seeking future editions can submit CVs to seleccio@creand.ad from January onward for the selection process.
