Escaldes-Engordany council has awarded a €108,882.50 contract to Companyia Andorrana de Projectes i Construccions, SA (Capicsa) for pavement refurbishment along Carrer de la Unió, from its junction with Avinguda Carlemany to number 15.
The Junta de Govern approved the award on 10 August 2026 following a competitive tender process. Capicsa must finish the works within 24 days of starting, as outlined in the Butlletí Oficial del Principat d'Andorra (BOPA).
The project covers a stretch recently expanded to three lanes and includes an area where FEDA linked the district heating network between the Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany parishes. Council officials are using the initiative to renew the full section.
