Andorran Business Confederation Honors 10 Companies and Leaders at Sixth Annual Awards

The Andorran Business Confederation (CEA) held its sixth annual awards ceremony on Thursday at the Andorra la Vella Congress Centre, recognizing ten companies, projects and individuals for their contributions to the country's economic growth. The event, marking the CEA's 20th anniversary and supported by Creand Crèdit Andorrà, attracted leaders from Andorra's business, economic and government sectors.

The gala began with a performance by a quartet from the National Classical Orchestra of Andorra (ONCA), featuring film soundtracks. CEA president Gerard Cadena opened proceedings by stressing the organization's dual role in defending business interests and promoting wider progress. He noted that it must look "beyond our own interests" and commended all finalists and winners for driving collective advancement.

Winners in the categories were:

- Business Trajectory: Patrimoine Assegurances, represented by Joan Tomàs Roca, a board member and AXA France delegate in Andorra.

- FEDA Sustainability Award: De Bon Gra, founded by Anna Pallé.

- International Projection (Andorra Business): Soadco, attended by founding shareholder Mercedes Roldán.

- Andorra Research + Innovation in Entrepreneurship and Innovation: CityXerpa, collected by CEO Bernat Altimir.

- Promotion of the Andorra Brand: Researcher Magda Marquet.

- Senior Management: Enclar Carburants Andorrans, received by CEO Carles Vicent Guitart.

- Self-Employed and Microenterprise: Ergoconcepte, co-founded by Jeniffer Ferrer and Douglas Porras.

- Female Entrepreneur Recognition (Dona i Empresa): Mercè Betriu, president and founder of Grup Galeno.

- Inclusive Company: PIME, picked up by CEO Marc Segarra.

- Andorra Pioneers: Josep M. Cosan and Joan Santamaria, co-founders of Santamaria & Cosan; the award was presented to Cosan by Creand managing director Xavier Cornella, as Santamaria was absent.

Cornella highlighted Creand's sponsorship as a shared belief that Andorra's progress depends on those who "undertake, invest, innovate and contribute decisively to societal growth."

Head of Government Xavier Espot closed the event, congratulating the CEA on two decades as an "essential and constructive interlocutor" for business. He praised the awards for showcasing the sector's vitality, talent and diversity, and urged greater dialogue, ambition and agreements between institutions and companies to meet future challenges. "A country's future is built not only by institutions but by businesses, entrepreneurs and, above all, people," Espot said.

The evening ended with a reception and formal dinner.
