Andorra la Vella Launches Online Portal for Key Municipal Certificates

Andorra la Vella has introduced an online service for six key municipal certificates, enabling residents to request them via the commune's electronic portal without visiting offices.
The platform at www.seu.andorralavella.ad now handles the most common documents, such as residency certification and proof of no outstanding debts. These account for roughly 11,000 requests each year, representing the busiest area of the commune's administration.
Councillor for Procedures, Taxes and Debtors, Susagna Mosquera, called the update a significant advance. It allows citizens and businesses to complete these routine tasks more swiftly, at any time and from any location, eliminating the need to travel to the town hall or Santa Coloma offices.
With this addition, 73.89% of all municipal procedures are available digitally. The initiative seeks to shorten queues, limit physical visits and enhance support for those requiring in-person help, while streamlining internal operations.
Mosquera pointed to recent digital expansions, including population census updates, terrace permits, bank domiciliation, Vall Market registrations, nursery school pre-enrolments and administrative appeals. In-person services continue at council offices for anyone who prefers them.
