Andorra Telecom Hosts Jornada Empresa on People-Centric Strategy

Andorra Telecom is set to host its annual Jornada Empresa on 8 October at the Art Hotel in Andorra la Vella, beginning at 10am. The event, themed "Créixer fent créixer" (Grow by Growing), highlights the essential role of people in organisational strategies and businesses' capacity to navigate constant environmental changes.

The free session will feature Xavier Marcet, vice-president of Marlex and a consultant specialising in strategy, innovation, and business transformation. Marcet has worked with more than 500 companies and authored books including Esquivar la mediocridad, Crecer haciendo crecer, Management humanista, and Management del sentido común. He will deliver a talk entitled "L’estratègia són les persones" (Strategy is People), arguing that strategic objectives, projects, and plans only yield results through the individuals who execute them. Drawing on humanist management principles, he will advocate for a results-oriented approach that keeps people at the organisation's core.

Christian Fernández, Andorra Telecom's director of People and Organisational Development, will kick off proceedings by discussing the company's responses to external shifts. These have prompted organisational changes and fresh methods for managing and leading teams. His presentation will explore positive leadership, organisational adaptability, high-performance team building, and leveraging individual capabilities alongside team complementarity.

Organisers aim to frame business strategy and people management as a unified discussion, with the theme underscoring the parallel growth of resilient organisations and their members.
