Andorra Telecom Hosts Jornada Empresa on People-Centric Strategy

Andorra Telecom will hold its annual Jornada Empresa event on 8 October at the Art Hotel in Andorra la Vella, focusing on companies' ability to adapt to ongoing changes.

The session, titled "Créixer fent créixer" (Grow by Growing) and starting at 10am, places people at the heart of business strategy. Organisers stress that firms must navigate constant environmental shifts through effective people management.

Xavier Marcet, vice-president of Marlex and a consultant in strategy, innovation, and business transformation, will speak on "L’estratègia són les persones" (Strategy is People). With experience advising over 500 companies and authoring titles such as Esquivar la mediocridad, Crecer haciendo crecer, Management humanista, and Management del sentido común, Marcet will emphasise humanist management. He argues that plans and projects succeed only via the people implementing them, calling for a people-centred, results-driven approach.

Christian Fernández, Andorra Telecom's director of People and Organisational Development, opens the event. He will outline the company's adaptations to external pressures, including new organisational structures, positive leadership practices, high-performance teams, and blending individual strengths with group dynamics.

The theme links business strategy with personnel development, promoting growth for both resilient organisations and their teams.
