Andorra la Vella, 2 September 2026 – The Andorran Business Confederation (CEA) has announced 30 finalists selected from more than 100 entries for its 2026 awards, with winners to be revealed across 10 categories at a gala on 17 September.
The ceremony at the Congress Centre, supported by Creand Crèdit Andorrà, doubles as a celebration of the CEA's 20th anniversary. A jury comprising CEA members, sponsor representatives, the Chamber of Commerce president, the Dean of Economists, and the Minister of Presidency, Labour and Housing will decide most recipients.
Categories cover business trajectory, sustainability, international projection, entrepreneurship and innovation, inclusive companies, senior management, self-employed workers and micro-enterprises, and Andorran pioneers. Separate honours include the EDE award for leading female entrepreneurs and the Marca Andorra recognition for those enhancing Andorra's global image.
Unlike other awards, the Marca Andorra winner will emerge from live electronic voting by CEA affiliates during the event. Nominees are paddler Mònica Doria for her sporting success, scientist Magda Marquet for her research impact, and Joan Anton Rechi for directing performing arts and cultural programmes. CEA representatives highlighted their shared success in promoting Andorra internationally despite diverse backgrounds.
The evening starts at 7pm with a cinema-themed performance by a quartet from the Orquestra Nacional del Consell d'Andorra (ONCA). After presentations, guests will proceed to a gala dinner at ROSTA restaurant in Plaça del Poble. Tickets are limited and available via the CEA website.
CEA president Gerard Cadena, alongside Creand's Jordi Playà and CEA director Iago Andreu, unveiled the finalists at a press event. The awards aim to spotlight strong enterprise practices and contributions to Andorra's economic and social growth, building on a biennial tradition launched after the CEA's 10th anniversary in 2016.
