Andorran Business Confederation Unveils 30 Finalists for 2026 Awards Gala

The Andorran Business Confederation (CEA) has selected 30 finalists from over 100 entries for its 2026 awards, to be presented on 17 September at a gala marking the organisation's 20th anniversary.

The event at the Congress Centre in Andorra la Vella will honour achievements across 10 categories, including business trajectory, sustainability, international projection, entrepreneurship and innovation, inclusive companies, senior management, self-employed workers and micro-enterprises, and Andorran pioneers. Additional recognitions will go to outstanding female entrepreneurs through the EDE award and to individuals promoting Andorra abroad via the Marca Andorra recognition.

For the Marca Andorra award, CEA members will vote electronically during the ceremony to choose among three nominees: paddler Mònica Doria for her sports accomplishments, scientist Magda Marquet for her scientific contributions, and Joan Anton Rechi for his work as artistic director and cultural programmer in the performing arts. CEA officials noted that the candidates represent diverse fields but share a strong role in raising Andorra's profile internationally.

The high level of participation underscores the awards' aim to highlight the Principat's business sector and commendable practices. Unlike other categories, where winners are pre-selected, the Marca Andorra recipient will be determined on the spot by affiliate votes.

The formal programme begins at 7pm with a musical performance by a quartet from the Orquestra Nacional del Consell d'Andorra (ONCA), featuring cinema-inspired pieces. Awards will follow, after which attendees move to a gala dinner at ROSTA restaurant in Plaça del Poble. Tickets are available on the CEA website, with limited places.
