Andorra Housing Institute Advances Six Applicants for Sant Julià Affordable Homes

Six of nine applicants for Font de Ferro two-bedroom flats can proceed after three failed eligibility criteria, with a final allocation list due in the coming weeks.

Key Points

  • The National Housing Institute received nine applications in the second public offer for 10 two-bedroom homes in Font de Ferro, Sant Julià de Lòria.
  • Three applications were rejected, including family units ineligible for two-bedroom properties and those without a favourable resolution.
  • The adapted flat in the building was allocated to the only registered family that met the requirements.
  • Unallocated homes will go to registry applicants with the highest scores, and a definitive list will follow a notary-supervised draw.

The National Housing Institute (INH) received nine applications in the second public offer for affordable homes in the Font de Ferro building in Sant Julià de Lòria, of which six can move forward in the allocation process.

Three applications fell short of the criteria, either because they are family units that cannot apply for two-bedroom properties or because they do not yet hold a favourable resolution.

The offer, published in an edicte on 7 October, covered the 10 two-bedroom homes left available after the first round, and 13 family units were eligible to take part. With the application window now closed, the regulations require the INH to verify that the six remaining participants still meet the established conditions.

Any homes left unallocated will go to applicants on the registry with the highest scores, even if they did not register an interest in this specific process.

Separately, the adapted flat in the same building has been allocated to the only registered family that met the requirements. A definitive list of allocations will be published in the coming weeks, following a draw held before a notary.
