The Tibetan Bridge and the Roc del Quer viewpoint in Canillo generated combined accumulated revenue of €1,957,933 in the first ten months of 2026, a 9.5 percent increase on the same period last year, according to figures released by the parish government (Comú de Canillo).

The Roc del Quer lookout posted the strongest growth, reaching €413,923, up 30.2 percent on 2025. The parish noted that the year-on-year comparison for Roc del Quer includes activity from January, February and March, a period when the site remained closed in 2025. Excluding those first three months, combined growth across the two installations stands at around 7 percent — a figure the operators say still reflects a favourable trend.

The Tibetan Bridge recorded €1,544,010, a 5 percent rise. Visitor numbers also continued to rise, with an accumulated increase of 6.9 percent.

The Comú said performance was particularly strong in September and October, helped by public holidays in Catalonia and Spain, including 11 September, La Mercè and 12 October.

Sira Puig, director of tourism promotion services for Valls de Canillo, described the results as positive. She said the data confirmed a favourable trend in activity and a good response from users, adding that the team would continue working to increase the appeal of the installations, especially during periods that still offer growth potential.

Puig said Canillo enters the final stretch of the year aiming to consolidate the positive revenue trend, maintain service quality and keep improving the experience for both residents and visitors.
