MoraBanc has been named Andorra's best private bank at the Citywire Awards 2026, held at the Real Fábrica de Tapices in Madrid. It is the second consecutive year the bank has taken the honour, having also won in 2025, when the awards introduced dedicated categories for Andorran banking for the first time.
The award was collected by Xavier Riestra, MoraBanc's director of Andorra business, and Laura Rodríguez Álvarez, who heads private banking, expansion and business development. The ceremony brought together professionals and representatives of leading private banking institutions, with members of MoraBanc Group teams in Madrid also attending.
According to the bank, the recognition reflects its track record in private banking and a model that combines close client relationships and knowledge of each customer with a broad, specialised investment offering tailored to individual profiles. A central element of that approach is MoraBanc Wealth Planning, its financial planning service, which the bank says takes a global view of wealth rather than focusing solely on investments, placing clients' personal, family and business objectives at the centre of its advice.
MoraBanc said its specialists use advanced technological tools to analyse scenarios and design personalised strategies, helping clients make decisions with a long-term perspective.
