Andorra Business is taking part in the 4 Years From Now (4YFN) event for the sixth year running, with a dedicated stand at Barcelona's Mobile World Congress (MWC) featuring eight local companies and organizations. The initiative aims to boost global exposure, networking and business opportunities for Andorran innovators among key players in technology and international commerce.

The stand showcases Sports Dynamic Lab, WX 180, Idunity, Blit, Blockchain School, Paymeter, Amb Tu and Zeeby, alongside projects from Andorra Recerca + Innovació. These ventures span audiovisual production, artificial intelligence, education, technology, sustainability and digital transformation, highlighting the Principality's diverse innovation ecosystem and its emergence as a competitive player on the world stage.

Minister of Presidency, Economy, Work and Housing Conxita Marsol, who also chairs Andorra Business, is leading the official delegation. She has held meetings with representatives from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, technology centre Eurecat and US Consul to Barcelona Lia Miller to explore partnerships in strategic areas for Andorra's technological and economic growth. Marsol joined Andorran firms for their pitches in the 4YFN auditorium, sharing the stage with entrepreneurs from the Occitanie region. State Secretary for Business, Economic Diversification and Innovation Marc Saura travelled with her.

Marsol emphasised the shared strengths of the companies—talent, adaptability and ambition to expand abroad. For a small nation like Andorra, she said, venturing out to promote itself and forge links is crucial. She referenced the national plan for innovation and economic diversification, launched months earlier, which supports projects in health tech, sports, nature and sustainable construction.

Andorra Business director Judit Hidalgo noted that consistent attendance at 4YFN cements the country's place in international innovation networks. The event provides access to tech partners and global markets, she said, while positioning Andorra as a stable, future-oriented location. International growth is essential for emerging businesses, Hidalgo added, with the agency focused on helping local talent compete globally.

The 4YFN runs from 3 to 6 March 2026 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via alongside the MWC, the world's top connectivity congress. Organisers expect more than 1,000 startups, hundreds of investors, conferences, pitches and networking sessions. This year's MWC is set to attract over 100,000 visitors from more than 200 countries, with thousands of exhibitors and tech leaders.
