Escaldes-Engordany parish council has launched the new Ràmio events season with ten activities scheduled through July, building on last year's successful formats to promote this natural and heritage site through participatory experiences.
The lineup opened on 25 and 26 April with a family survival activity around Ràmio, focusing on basic self-sufficiency skills in natural settings. Priced at €33 for adults and €11 for children and young people, it is limited to 10 families.
On 16 May, a sketchers' meetup and plein air drawing course drew up to 50 participants for rapid landscape sketches, alongside a 20-place beginners' session. The €22 cost covered a botifarrada barbecue.
The 7 June wild foraging cooking workshop paired an ethnobotany walk to spot local plants with practical dish-making, at €11 for a maximum of 12 participants.
June's later events featured the second retro market at Borda Sabater on 20 and 21 June, hosting up to 20 stalls for vintage, antique and second-hand goods. Stall registrations ran from 1 to 17 June at €22 each, with added activities to boost attendance. This was followed by an over-18s yoga retreat on 27 and 28 June, delivering two days of nature-based wellness for €44, limited to 15 spots.
The programme concludes on 4 July with the fifth Reviu Ràmio festival, a free open event requiring prior sign-up.
These family-oriented, cultural and wellness initiatives seek to draw residents and visitors deeper into Ràmio's environment.
