Around 60 government volunteers met at the AINA holiday home in Canillo on Saturday to launch their new season of activities with a training session.
The technical team from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports' Youth Promotion and Volunteering area presented the upcoming events where the volunteers will provide support. These include the Illa Carlemany popular race, senior sports games, Cirque du Soleil shows, women's race, La Vuelta cycling event, and the Assandca cancer walk, among other initiatives planned for the coming months.
Minister Mònica Bonell and State Secretary for Youth and Sports Alain Cabanes attended the gathering, interacting with the volunteers and thanking them for their indispensable work across Andorra's social, cultural, and sporting events. Bonell and Cabanes emphasised the volunteers' commitment and key role in ensuring these occasions run smoothly.
The session concluded with a shared lunch among the volunteers and other participants.
