The Comú de la Massana has announced the spring edition of its Vide Dressing market for second-hand clothing and accessories, set for May 8 to 10 with 82 stalls. A key change this year is the introduction of a lottery system for allocating vendor spaces, driven by high demand.

The event gains extra room through a new hall in the Closeta building, boosting overall capacity. Councillor for Dynamisation Bet Rossell noted that after more than 20 editions, the market has become a staple in the parish calendar, with spring and autumn outings that see growing vendor and visitor turnout. Crowds consist mostly of locals, joined by Andorran tourists and visitors from Alt Urgell, with each session typically moving around 5,000 second-hand items.

Emma Jiménez, head of Tourism and Dynamisation, highlighted the strong interest from participants—mainly individuals selling their own garments and accessories such as t-shirts, trousers, dresses, handbags, jewellery, and sunglasses, provided they are in good condition. Solidarity stalls from schools and non-profits will direct earnings toward charitable causes.

New features include an Ebur recycling station operated by Reciclem Bé to raise awareness on waste handling and circular economy principles. The Comú emphasises professional stall displays via pre-market training for vendors, plus a returning contest for the best setup, judged by visitor votes.

Organisers seek to promote sustainable habits, prolong clothing use, and invigorate the parish over the weekend.
