Andorra la Vella town council has awarded just over €50,000 in grants to 13 cultural projects run by local associations, groups, and individuals, focusing on activities set for 2026 in the parish.
The funding details appear in an edict published today in the *Butlletí Oficial del Principat d'Andorra* (*BOPA*). These citizen-led initiatives aim to promote cultural events across the capital.
The top grant of €18,000 goes to the Agrupació Sardanista Andorrana for its summer ballada and the 2026 sardana gathering. Cristina Gallart Balañá receives €7,000 for *Compositores silenciades*, while the Colla Castellera d’Andorra gets €6,600 to host castell days in Andorra la Vella.
Film and music efforts are also supported: the Cineclub de les Valls secures €3,200 for its 2026 programming, and Manuel Ángel Alonso Gutiérrez obtains €3,700 for the ninth International Guitar Festival.
Editorial and educational projects round out the list. The Societat Andorrana de Ciències receives €1,700 for Sant Jordi cultural and lithography events, plus €1,600 for a lecture series. Book grants include €1,200 to Juli Fernández Blasi for a poetry collection in Catalan and Portuguese, and €1,900 to the Associació Amics dels Orgues de les Valls for *Els orgues de tub d’Andorra*.
Further awards cover the 2026 Xarranca creators' contest (€2,000), Guillem Betriu Diumenjó's *La Cota* project (€2,650), and the Fundació Privada Marcel Chevalier's *Melanterita* initiative (€550).
