The celebration highlights the overhaul of one of the parish's most iconic public spaces, which now offers better accessibility, more green areas, and stronger appeal as a community gathering spot.
The day begins at 12:30pm with an official ribbon-cutting by local authorities. This will be followed by a performance of the *Suite de la Plaça del Poble*, a piece composed specially for the occasion. The Esbart Dansaire d'Andorra la Vella dance group, joined by the orchestra of teachers from the Andorra la Vella Music Conservatory, will present traditional dances. The show ends with the Contrapàs d'Andorra la Vella, inviting audience participation, before an aperitif for attendees.
Afternoon activities from 5pm to 7pm include children's games with giant wooden toys and an interactive mini-golf setup. At 6pm, the La Baldufa theatre company stages *Zeppelin*, a family-friendly spectacle.
The evening caps off at 9:30pm with a concert by Manu Guix and Elena Gadel, featuring sand projections by artist Borja González. Authorities note the performance was tailored for the occasion. The concert contract, awarded directly to La Gresca SLU, totals €19,100, as published in the official gazette. Separately, Toldecor SL received a €118,337.89 contract for supplying and installing textile banners in a new shaded area at Plaça Vinyes, with work due within seven weeks.
