Andorra Grants €8,439 to Four Artists for International Residencies and Training

Andorra's Culture Promotion Department has awarded a total of €8,439.21 to four local artists to support their creative residencies and training abroad.

The grants, part of the Strategic Culture Plan 2030, target professional development, networking and the international reach of Andorran cultural production. Emma Regada will use €1,429.21 for work on body, movement and performance at the Cuerpo Incógnito residency in San Martín de los Andes, Argentina. Julieta Morales receives €2,590 to join the young contemporary dance company Descalzinha Danza in Madrid. Nicolás Vega gets €3,300 for courses in musical production and sound techniques at the Abbey Road Institute in Suresnes, near Paris. Rosa Maria Montoliu has €1,120 for an artistic residency at Tèxtil Rase, the cultural factory in Cardedeu.

Spanning fields such as dance, music, performance and textiles, the program aims to strengthen artists' skills and global connections. The initiative falls under the 2022-launched plan to boost Andorran creative output on the world stage.
