Andorra's Castellers de Andorra achieved what their president described as a historic performance at the fifth International Human Tower Day in Tarragona, completing four demanding structures on Saturday.

The team successfully unloaded a 4 de 7, a 3 de 7, a 9 de 6, and a pillar of five at the Palau Firal de Tarragona. Notably, they fully discharged the 3 de 7, while the 9 de 6 required broad participation. The pillar of five built on prior practice by the group. Juli Peña, president of the colla, called the day historic and expressed great pride and satisfaction.

The event drew around 800 castellers from international groups, including teams from London, Paris, Madrid, Copenhagen, and others. Andorra's contingent involved about 145 people, encompassing current members and supporters.

Rainy conditions had prompted organizers to shift the morning prelude—from Tarragona's Plaça de la Font to the covered venue—ahead of the main Castells Contest this weekend. The Andorrans' display earned strong applause from spectators and peers, positioning them prominently among participants like Castellers de Londres, Castellers de Madrid, Xiquets de Copenhaguen, Geperuts de París, and debutants Castellers de Lo Prado from Chile.

The gathering underscored the global reach of castells, uniting diverse formations for the session.
