Inter Club d'Escaldes representatives, including CEO Damon Mark, attended the annual European Football Clubs (EFC) meeting—formerly the ECA—in Copenhagen on Monday and Tuesday.
The event allowed the Andorran club to connect with major European teams amid its debut in the UEFA Conference League league phase. Mark emphasised the importance of such gatherings for fostering ties with top clubs. "These kinds of meetings are important for us because they let us stay in contact with Europe's big clubs," he said. "Qualifying for the Conference League league phase also obliges us to build more relationships at the European level."
Mark was photographed greeting FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, among others, during the two-day assembly.
The agenda included electing a new board, reviewing the 2025-26 season, and updating the organisation's statutes, with discussions centred on challenges ahead for European football. Mark added that full EFC membership bolsters the club's position on the global stage.
