Key Points

  • AR+I started telephone fieldwork Monday for the second-semester 2026 Observatori survey.
  • The survey covers residents' main concerns, housing and, for the first time in this second wave, digital technology use.
  • Around 750 people aged 18 and over with a landline or mobile phone are expected to respond.
  • Fieldwork is scheduled to run about two weeks; the Observatori has run since 2002.

Andorra Recerca + Innovació (AR+I) began telephone fieldwork on Monday for the second-semester 2026 edition of its Observatori survey, which will focus on the main concerns of residents, the housing situation and, for the first time in this year's second wave, the use of digital technologies.

According to the entity, the digital technology questions form a third block within the year's second barometer. The survey targets the population of Andorra aged 18 and over who have a landline at home or a mobile phone, and expects to gather responses from around 750 people.

Fieldwork is scheduled to run for about two weeks.

The Observatori is a recurring survey carried out since 2002 with the aim of analysing how different social indicators evolve and comparing them with those of neighbouring countries. It is usually conducted twice a year, in spring and autumn.

AR+I also provides a frequently asked questions section covering how the surveys work, how telephone numbers are selected and how the anonymity of participants is guaranteed.
