The University of Andorra (UdA) has registered 96 people for its official Catalan language exams on 24 October, approaching the initial limit of 100 places as the registration deadline remains open.
This is the third round of B2 and C1 level tests since the UdA launched them last year under a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The first session on 25 October 2025 drew 71 participants—43 for B2 and 28 for C1—while the second on 25 April this year had 70 participants, with 42 at B2 and 28 at C1. Of the current 96 sign-ups, 63 are for B2 and 33 for C1.
UdA officials have welcomed the strong uptake and are now studying options to expand capacity in response to growing demand for these certifications. No one has yet been turned away, but they anticipate this could change without adjustments. The university aims to maintain its biannual schedule of April and October sessions, which aligns well with government exams typically held in February and June to provide more opportunities throughout the year.
