Andalusian pianist Chico Pérez was scheduled to perform with the Orquestra Nacional Clàssica d'Andorra (ONCA) on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 8:30 pm at the Auditori Claror in Sant Julià de Lòria, as part of the Entresons cycle. The programme, announced in the days before the concert, was to blend flamenco, jazz and classical music, with Pérez's flamenco piano in dialogue with a symphonic orchestra.

The concert was to mark Pérez's return to Sant Julià de Lòria, where he had performed in 2022. On that occasion, a fire at the Centre Cultural Lauredià forced the performance to be moved to a church, and the musician said he had agreed to come back once the building reopened. He described the new project as special because of its symphonic scale and because it brought him back to Andorra.

The ONCA was to be conducted by Cuenca, musical director of the El Rey León production in Madrid, where the two men had worked together while Pérez was a pianist in the show. Cuenca said that combining flamenco and jazz with a symphonic orchestra posed a challenge, but that the result was a mix that worked well.

Pérez, 32 and originally from Jaén, said the programme would span his discography and include a range of styles. He described Cuenca as his right-hand man and the connection between the orchestra, the band and himself, and said he wanted audiences to set aside labels and listen without limits. The concert was announced as part of the Entresons cycle.
