Andorra's museums and monuments recorded 101,506 visitors from January through mid-December 2025, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Mònica Bonell reported in a 19 December interview with the Andorran News Agency (ANA). She described the figure as evidence of steady sector growth, despite prolonged closures at major attractions like Casa de la Vall.
Of the total, 50,357 visits went to museums, with the remainder at national monuments. Andorra la Vella sites topped the list at 50,263 visitors, led by Casa de la Vall with 22,817. Ordino museums followed with 32,110 visits, spearheaded by Casa Areny-Plandolit (15,627), while Escaldes-Engordany facilities logged 31,120, powered by the Centre d’Art (14,902). Other leaders included Santuari Basílica de Meritxell (15,654), Bici Lab (12,194) and Espai Columna (11,131).
Bonell emphasized that the results held up well given Casa de la Vall's extended shutdown—Andorra's historical top draw, which alone attracted over 50,000 visitors in 2024. That year, the full network saw 172,260 visits, a 14.9% rise of 25,622 from 2023, alongside 586 cultural activities across sites, with Escaldes-Engordany the most active parish.
Looking ahead, the minister highlighted plans to enhance exhibit designs, guide training and both physical and digital access to sustain momentum. She also called for lively programming of exhibitions and events to engage residents and tourists alike. Officials anticipate a rebound in 2026 once Casa de la Vall fully reopens.
