Andorra's Cultural Lineup: Concerts, Science Talk and Art Exhibitions

A classical music concert featuring Berlioz's *Les nuits d'été* and Debussy's *La damoiselle élue* takes place today at 6pm in the Església de Sant Julià i Sant Germà in Sant Julià de Lòria. The event traces two landmark works of 19th-century French lyricism, connected by evocative texts, delicate orchestration and profound poetic depth.

A separate talk on the origins of chemical elements, from the Big Bang to oganesson, is scheduled for 7pm tonight at Centre Cultural La Llacuna in Andorra la Vella. Dr Josep Maria Fernàndez i Novell, dean of the Col·legi Oficial de Químics de Catalunya and president of the Associació de Químics de Catalunya, will outline the discovery of periodic table elements and their applications.

Several art exhibitions continue across Andorra this week: - **L’Univers de la Maite** at Centre Cultural La Llacuna in Andorra la Vella displays prints by Maite Bernet, along with jewellery, ceramics and her recent enamels work. It runs until 26 March. - **Imatges Sense Fronteres** at Biblioteca Comunal Antoni Morell in La Massana features photographs by Associació Fotogràfica Valls del Nord members, depicting worldwide scenes that evoke diversity, beauty and a common exploratory drive. It lasts until 31 March. - **Respirs de Canillo** by Naiara Escabias appears at Cal Federico in Canillo until 31 March. - **Un Cos Sota 10 Mirades** at L’Institucional in Parc Central, Andorra la Vella, uses photography and the body to probe Andorra’s changes in an intimate project by Emma Regada. It ends on 28 March. - **Van Gogh Live Andorra 2026** at Sala Prat del Roure in Escaldes-Engordany delivers the world's top immersive Van Gogh experience, animating his paintings with distinctive technology. It continues until 6 April. - **Celebrant Marilyn** at Centre d’Art d’Escaldes in Escaldes-Engordany traces the Hollywood star's shift from young woman to icon and commodity via varied artistic styles and media. It stays open until 13 June.
