Andorra's Parishes Buzz with Christmas Events and Exhibitions

Andorra's parishes continue to host a rich lineup of Christmas events and exhibitions, with new festive activities scheduled through Christmas Eve and beyond.

Today's highlights feature choral concerts such as the 12.30pm performance by Coral Sant Miquel d’Encamp and Coral Sant Antoni de la Massana at Església de Santa Eulàlia in Encamp. Families can attend *El Circ de les Joguines*, a theatre and dance show with enchanting characters and tunes, at 11am and 12.45pm in Espai Escènic La Feréstec in Escaldes-Engordany.

Youth programmes include a Christmas wreath workshop for ages 12-17 from 10.30am to 2pm at Espai Jovent del Comú in Escaldes-Engordany, alongside a Youth Department outing to Palau de Gel in Canillo from 10.30am to 2pm.

Evening festivities emphasise traditions. The *Buidem els Tallers* artisan market opens at 6pm in L’Institucional at Parc Central in Andorra la Vella, showcasing local crafts for holiday gifts. In Canillo, "Fem Cagar el Tió" starts at 6pm in the Canillo Brilla parking area at Sella, with carol singing, games and dances around the festive log. Nearby, Casetes dels Follets run from 6pm to 9pm for letters to Pare Noel, photos and treats. Andorra la Vella's Plaça del Poble hosts the Tió de Nadal from 5.30pm for children's visits.

Creative sessions include Miniartistes workshops for children from 10am-1pm and 4pm-7pm at Hotel Roc Blanc in Escaldes-Engordany, plus the "Workshop Nadal 2025" dance classes led by Ari Loan, Dan Sampaio, Marta Blanchart and Pauline da Costa at Escola Líquid Dansa.

On Christmas Eve (Wednesday, 24 December), multiple Midnight Mass services mark the occasion: at 11pm in Església de Sant Iscle i Santa Victòria in La Massana with music and tradition; at midnight in Encamp and Església de Sant Pere Màrtir in Escaldes-Engordany with hot chocolate and coca; at 7.30pm in Pas de la Casa; and at midnight parish-wide in Sant Julià de Lòria amid spectacles, theatre from 10am-7pm, and Pare Noel visits from 11am-1pm and 4pm-6.30pm.

Pare Noel arrivals include a 6pm procession in Andorra la Vella to Plaça del Poble; 5pm-7pm at La Mola de Cal Quico in La Massana; 5pm at Plaça Coprínceps in Escaldes-Engordany; 6pm parades in Encamp and Pas de la Casa; and 6pm at Palau de Gel in Canillo with an ice show.

Post-Christmas activities on Friday, 26 December, feature a "El Joc del Tió" gymkhana by Companyia Gaudire Contingut Creatiu at 11.30am in Plaça de la Germandat in Sant Julià de Lòria, and "Un Univers Màgic per als Més Petits" – Nadal Estelàrium, a galactic holiday play area from 4.30pm-8.30pm in Plaça de l’Església in La Massana.
