The Palau de Gel in Andorra will extend its hours over the Christmas period, including an unprecedented opening on 25 December with family activities and special gastronomic offers.
Centre director Sira Puig explained that the programme seeks to offer "a leisure alternative for local families and visitors" during the holidays, transforming the facility into "a space for meeting, celebration and shared experiences". She emphasised creating "a complete experience combining activity, fun and gastronomy".
On Christmas Day, the ice rink will run from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, and the Zona Splash area from 4pm to 8pm. All ticket holders for any activity that day will receive a free sweet tasting at the restaurant.
The festive schedule begins on 24 December, with Santa Claus arriving at 6.30pm and the ice rink open from 4pm to 5.30pm.
From 26 to 30 December, skating sessions will continue until 9pm. A key event is the Ice&Fun night on 27 December, starting at 9.30pm with DJ Kevinaso. Adult tickets cost €21 and children's (ages 6-12) €18, with a 50% discount for those who skated earlier that day. Participants will also get a free hot broth from the restaurant.
On 1 January, the ice rink opens from noon to 2pm and 4.30pm to 9pm, while Zona Splash operates from 4pm to 9pm. The restaurant stays open all day, with special gastronomic deals available throughout the period.
