Canillo's Tibetan bridge has drawn 96,000 visitors over the 2025 season, generating €1.9 million in revenue, according to local officials.

Mayor Jordi Alcobé highlighted the figures during Sunday's Sant Antoni feast. He credited the attraction's extended operation until Immaculate Conception Day for spreading out crowds and boosting attendance. Most income came from combined tickets pairing the bridge with the Roc del Quer viewpoint, which proved the top seller.

Complementary activities like jumping have also gained traction. Alcobé praised it as a strong addition to the bridge experience that's steadily establishing itself, despite lacking precise visitor data. He attributed its high price to staff maintenance and safety needs.

While celebrating the success, Alcobé stressed controlled expansion to prevent overcrowding, especially in summer. "We don't want it to become too massified or double the visitor numbers," he said, advocating promotion during off-peak periods.

To manage flows better, the parish is considering a cable car to the viewpoint. This would enable year-round access without relying on roads or buses, Alcobé noted.
