Celtas Cortos and The Tyets will headline Andorra la Vella's extended summer festival, running five days from July 30 to August 3 at Plaça Guillemó.
Organizers from the comuna have added an extra day by incorporating the Dijous de Rock finale into the opening night, creating more slots for local Andorran performers alongside international acts. Consol menor Olalla Losada and Culture Area head Jan Cartes presented the lineup at a morning press briefing, highlighting a diverse program across genres to draw wide crowds. Cartes called it "a bold lineup meant for having a great time."
The event begins Thursday, July 30, with Andorran groups Els Senyora and Freyja, doubling as the Dijous de Rock send-off and festival kickoff. Losada said the extension provides local musicians "more space to show what they do, just like the artists we bring in from elsewhere."
Friday, July 31, spotlights Mamadousha's electronic-urban pop blend and a comeback by Ludwig Band, which played one of the first Jambos festivals. Saturday, August 1, features Spanish rock-Celtic group Celtas Cortos—returning after 16 years—and Catalan trap-reggaeton duo The Tyets, known for their "trapetón" style and tracks like "Coti x Coti."
Sunday, August 2, includes cobla La Principal de la Bisbal, who will play their comuna-commissioned "Noches de Andorra," followed by La Loca Histeria. The festival wraps up Monday, August 3, with Els Amics de les Arts and Doctor Prats.
