Encamp launches national poster contest for Carnival 2026 with €1,000 top prize

The Festival Commission and the Comú d’Encamp have opened the fourth edition of the poster contest to select the official image for Encamp Carnival 2026, which will run from 14 to 18 February. Organisers have raised the top prize from €700 to €1,000 and expanded the competition to a national level within Andorra to attract a wider range of creators.

The contest is open to artists, professional graphic designers, students and amateurs in the graphic arts who reside in Andorra. Any person aged 16 or over may submit up to two proposals.

A jury will include the cònsol major of Encamp, the councillor for Culture, the communications councillor, three members of the Festival Commission, the director of the municipal Department of Culture and an expert in the field chosen by the jury. Submissions will be judged on technical quality, artistic quality, visual impact, creativity and originality.

Entries must be delivered to the Department of Culture at Passeig de l’Alguer s/n, ground floor, Complex Esportiu i Sociocultural d’Encamp. The deadline for submissions is before 12:00 on Monday 5 January 2026.
