Escaldes-Engordany council has presented the cultural series *Ressonàncies. Veus que vibren, històries que transformen* ahead of International Women's Day, focusing on women's experiences and paths that have reshaped society through theatre, literature, music, and poetry.

The free programme, organised by the council, uses artistic initiatives to promote reflection and critical thought. Access is available until venues fill up.

It begins on 12 March at 8pm in the council's Sala d'Actes with the play *Querida amiga: Las verdaderas cartas de Elena Francis*. Based on real letters to the Francis advice column, the production explores women's emotional education and cultural norms during Francoism, and their lasting impact on generations.

The second event takes place on 19 March at 8pm in the Comunal Library, featuring the launch of *150 anys en veu de dona* by Jordi Novell, with illustrations by Maria Picassó. The book profiles around 100 influential women in global popular music, covering a wide range of ages, regions, languages, and styles. Andorran singer Júlia Sart will perform musical accompaniment.

The series ends on 25 March at 7pm in the same library with Eva Arasa's poetry recital *Veus de dona*, which highlights women's poetic contributions across history and aims to spark cultural dialogue on the occasion of International Women's Day.
