Kaley Cuoco Stars in Suspense Miniseries 'Vanished'

Kaley Cuoco is set to star in *Vanished*, a four-episode suspense miniseries that marks her continued shift toward darker roles following the end of *Based on a True Story*. The American actress, best known for her comedic turn in *The Big Bang Theory*, follows up the comedy-thriller—which wrapped after two seasons—with this new project centered on psychological tension and personal drama.

The story follows a couple traveling to Paris for a relaxing getaway. Their plans unravel when the husband vanishes without explanation during a train journey to southern France. His wife launches a frantic search, uncovering disturbing clues that force her to question his true identity. As the plot unfolds, the mystery deepens with new characters and complications, all set against an atmosphere of growing distrust.

Joining Cuoco in the cast are Sam Claflin, Karin Viard, and Matthias Schweighöfer. Production took place across various French locations in spring 2025, blending urban Paris scenes with southern landscapes to heighten the series' mood.

*Vanished* premieres next month on MGM+ in the US. It will reach Europe later via Amazon Prime Video, though an exact date remains unannounced.
